The stay at The Lodge was mostly enjoyable with clean and comfortable rooms, and beautiful views overlooking Deadwood. The staff was exceptionally responsive and helpful, especially Joelle at the front desk who went above and beyond. However, my experience was marred by a billing misunderstanding that left a sour taste in my mouth at checkout. Overall, it's a charming place with great amenities, but be cautious about confirmatory details concerning pricing.

This resort is an absolute gem nestled in the Black Hills. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. The dining options were exceptional, particularly at Oggie's Sports Bar, though I did wish for a bit more variety. The package deals offer fantastic value for what you get, but not everything was perfect. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I can't wait to return!

The Lodge at Deadwood is a spacious hotel conveniently located just outside of town, making it easy to head into Deadwood. The casino provided a fun experience and there were some nice amenities for families. However, cleanliness was a significant issue during my stay, which really took away from the overall experience.

The Lodge at Deadwood offers a beautiful setting with comfortable accommodations and a fun atmosphere. The complimentary shuttle into town is a fantastic perk, making it easy to explore without any hassle. However, the pool area can be crowded with kids, which might not appeal to everyone, and the hot tub could use more powerful jets for relaxation.
Rooms

We opted for a balcony room that was modern and featured comfortable beds, although the view was less ideal due to afternoon sun exposure.

The lodge offers stunning mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a lovely place to escape to. Our room was beautifully spacious, and the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. However, our last stay revealed some maintenance issues, especially with housekeeping and pool facilities, which detracted from the overall experience. While the food on-site was great, the frustrating service around maintenance took away from what could have been a fantastic family vacation.
